What aspects should be considered when submitting an assignment where students are allowed to use AI applications? We will select a common task and analyse the learning path of the student to determine where AI can be of assistance. We will also consider how the use of AI affects the outcome
of the assignment. Based on this analysis, we will modify the assignment to evaluate the students‘ knowledge and added value. The workshop is aimed at trainers, educational developers, and instructional designers who wish to explore the possibility of students completing assignments with the assistance of AI. The workshop will provide an opportunity to gain a better understanding of how AI can be used in student learning. The user journey methodology will serve as the basis for analysing students‘ learning paths. Additionally, AI tools that can be used by students in their learning will be introduced.
